The Alta Room is simply exquisite with its subdued layers of ivory, white and muted golds. The dark mahogany floors contrast boldly against the antique white, king size half-tester bed, tall chest of drawers and intricately carved armoire. The bed is appointed in silk linens with a matching silk canopy.
The Alta Room overlooks the lawn, copper pavilion and the Susquehanna River. It has a serene river view and large window groupings which fill the room with golden sunlight at dawn and dusk. A white three-tiered chandelier provides a romantic glow. A small table for two completes the sitting area for extended gazing at the river.
The Alta Room has a private, full bath with sparkling subway tile walls and white honeycomb tile floors. The bath has an air bath tub, plush towels and specialty soaps and bath salts.
